Anna Douglas

Anna C. Douglas, 81, widow of Zena Douglas, passed away Tuesday morning, March 18, 2008, in Pattie A. Clay Regional Medical Center, after a long illness.Mrs. Douglas was born March 14, 1927, in Estill County to Wilce and Amanda Logston Coyle, both of whom preceded her in death. She lived in Richmond for over 60 years and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.Her survivors include: her son, Howard Doug Isaacs (Peggy) of Berea; and three daughters, Lucille Rice (Wendell) of Irvine, Sue Dickerson (Bailey) of Richmond and Charlene D. Nelson (Steve) of Jacksonville, Fla.; one brother, Esmer Coyle of Richmond; five sisters, Verna Hurt and Hazel Rose, both of Richmond, Mae Rose of Irvine, Lorene Rose (Lester) of Louisville and Imogene Richardson (Roy) of Vandalia, Ohio; nine grandchildren, Eddie Fowler, Jessie Rice, Danisha, Delbert, Levi and Ciara Isaacs, Christopher Douglas Dickerson, Charlotte Ann Masters and Danny Wayne Ashcraft; 10 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren.In addition to her huband, Mrs. Douglas was preceded in death by: four brothers, Hamp, Ralph, Dewey and Albert Coyle; and one sister, Emma Jane Cates.Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2008, at Combs, Parsons and Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Edwin Lainhart and Dr. Ray Edward Hurt officiating. Burial will follow in Richmond Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Combs, Parsons and Collins Funeral Home.Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
