Anne Berman

Anne Mahaffy Berman, age 76, of Monroe Township, passed away Saturday evening, March 15, 2025.

She was born June 9, 1948, in Brooklyn, New York. After her graduation from Montclair High School in 1966, Anne attended New York University where she earned both her undergraduate degree in Economics and Sociology and her MBA from the Stern School of Business. Anne had an extraordinary career working at prominent companies such as Johnson & Johnson and eventually went on to serve as President at Mahaffy & Harder Engineering Company, where she retired in 2006.

Anne was reunited in eternal heaven with her late husband and soulmate, Edward Berman and her loving parents, Reid and Margaret Mahaffy.

Anne is survived by her two children Gary and Donna, and son-in-law, Joseph and her grandchildren Shaun (Justin), Amanda (Gregory), Sydney, Perry, and Olivia. Anne is also survived by her siblings Evann, Maggie, Chip, Susan, and her nieces and nephews Jeffrey (Cait) and their three children, Kelly, John, Kate (Matthew), Lara, Anna, and Charlotte. She also leaves behind many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

Anne enjoyed playing bridge, spending her winters in Mexico, attending Broadway shows, reading books, doing crossword puzzles, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends who she cherished dearly.

Funeral service will be held at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Cedar Park Cemetery, Sanctuary of Abraham and Sarah Chapel in Paramus, NJ. Please make any donations to the American Cancer Society.
