Ms. Annette "Pumpkin" Bailey 54, of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday May 22, 2018 at Hartford Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 18, 1964 in Waterbury, CT to Margie Bailey of Waterbury, CT and Frederick Harvey of Portage, WI. She was educated in the Waterbury school system attending Wallace Middle School and Crosby High School. She furthered her education and became a Certified Nursing Assistant. Annette was affectionately known as "Pumpkin". She loved to cook and clean. She also enjoyed listening to music, dancing and spending time with family and friends. Pumpkin was the person that would give you her last. Pumpkin grew up in Long Hill Projects and everyone knew and loved her in the neighborhood. She moved to Wisconsin for a few years but returned back home to help take care of her mother. "Pumpkin" was a loving and affectionate person, she was the second oldest but often acted like the baby of the family. She leaves to cherish her memory her long - time companion Reginald Shelton, one son; Tyrell Lamar Bailey, one daughter; Kaiesha Joseph, three grandchildren; Naimah Raven Bailey, Noah Tyrell Bailey and Isaac Joseph one sister Gloria "Pokey" Bailey, five half – sisters, Florence (Thomas) Hunter, Dolores Thomas, Patricia Harvey, Nadine Thomas of Portage, WI, Linda (Thomas) Barnes of Phoenix, AZ and Nickie Riddenhour . Three half - brothers, Frederick Harvey Jr., James Thomas and Frank all of Portage Wisconsin, one god sister Tanya Harden and two special friends Laura Ann Watson and Denora Jean Flemming. She was predeceased by one sister Charlene Bailey.
