Annie Swanson Obituary

Annie Ward Swanson was born in Pulaski, Tennessee on July 4, 1932. She entered Heaven's gates on Tuesday, October 23, 2018. She was a loving mother, homemaker, and child care provider. She was a devout Christian in the Assembly of God faith. She loved reading, rose gardening and gospel music.

Annie was predeceased by her loving husband, William Harold Swanson, who passed away in 1982. She was also predeceased by her parents and two of her sisters. She is survived by her son, David Swanson and his wife, Vanessa, of Hardy, Virginia, brother James Ward and wife, Patsy, of Greensboro, sister Nellie Carroll of Lincolnton and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, October 27th at 2 pm at Advantage Funeral Service, 1900 Vanstory Street, Greensboro, NC. Visitation with the family will be at 1:30 in advance of the funeral service. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Greensboro.
