Anthony Buono Obituary
He is survived by his wife, Angela Colagiovanni Buono; Children, Alanna (Jeffrey) Shore, Alex (Kayla), and Armand (Julia); Sister, Gloria (George) Cappellini; Sister-in-Law, Emilia Colagiovanni Vinci (Carl, deceased); Bonus Grandfather of 3, Joseph, Margaret, and Mathew; Uncle of 3 nieces: Genna, Catherine, Laura Beth (deceased) and of 8 nephews: George Jr, John, Francesco, Daniel, Paul, David, Thomas, and Christopher. Great Uncle of 11. Anthony was predeceased by his Parents, Antonino and Bettina (Lanza).
Anthony was born on July 1,1949, in Cleveland, Ohio and grew up in Shaker Heights. In 1973, he graduated from Kent State University with a degree in Architecture. He worked for several firms in Cleveland until he and his wife (married in 1980) moved to Orlando in 1982 to escape the winters of Cleveland and pursue better professional opportunities. For 25 years, he was employed by well- known architectural companies, and his creative detailed expertise was exemplified through medical projects for Florida Hospital and Orlando Regional Hospital among others in Florida and out of state.
Anthony will be remembered as a Christian man who touched the lives of all who met him and especially the lives of his family and friends who were paramount. He was a humble gentle man with a generous heart. He had a great sense of humor...a natural gift for making people laugh and lifting their spirits.
Anthony was the best father any child could have...loving, present and involved, leading by example, and also a father figure to many others. He was well-known as being a master storyteller of life experiences especially his adventuresome two-month road trip in 1974, driving his Celica from Cleveland to Argentina with one of his best friends.
Anthony's presence in our lives will be profoundly missed and he'll be forever in our hearts.
Funeral Mass is Saturday, June 14th at 10AM

We miss Anthony's smile, his great sense of humor, and love for all he met. He fed many homeless at Pathways to Care, together with his loving wife, Angela, and a team they recruited. We will have fond memories of him for the remainder of our lives. Through the mercy of God, may he rest in peace.
