LAWRENCE — Anthony Cataldi, 48, of Lawrence, died Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at Lawrence General Hospital.
Anthony was born in Lawrence, on Dec. 20, 1960. He attended Methuen schools and graduated Methuen High School.
Anthony attended Holy Rosary Church in Lawrence. He was an 18-wheel truck driver and drove buses for Trombley Bus Lines.
Mr. Cataldi is survived by his mother Marie (Lanzafame) Lord of Lawrence and his father Antonio Cataldi and his wife Antonette of North Andover: son Anthony M. Cataldi; life partner Norma Vieweg; stepchildren Christopher Howard of North Andover, Michael Howard and his wife Sarah of North Andover and daughter Kimberley Howard of North Andover; sister Maria Worsley of Merrimac; grandson Kyel Howard from North Andover; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral Mass will be Friday, May 15, 2009, at 10 a.m. at Corpus Christi Parish at Holy Rosary Church, 35 Essex St., Lawrence, MA 01841. Burial will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, 29 Barker St., Lawrence. Family and friends may call on Thursday, May 14, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen, MA 01844. you have heard of pen pals? well i am writing from catholic chat room one...tony had many many friends in catholic chat....he was always able to cheer us up when we were down about something...he always talked abut his music and his son and grandson they brought him much joy...i will miss anthony very much and so will alot of people from catholic chat..dont ever let anyone tell you that this computer doesnt have its place in our lives...anthony helped me so much after i lost my husband just listening to me...i know he has a special place in heaven..i think he might be one of my special angels up there...
