Tony treated me like his younger brother. I´m still riding the CBR650 he gave me this spring. He was sick, stressed out and had just gotten his pacemaker put in and still grabbed a trailer with his truck, loaded up this bike and dragged it all the way down to St. Paul to gift it to me. He and I got in to all sorts of trouble and we always helped each other by going above and beyond to make sure your creative endeavors would work out. Tony had my back. He always made sure I had transportation and a basic livelihood when I was down and out. He helped me through a very rough time in my life. I am so glad I met someone I could see as an older brother and am really unhappy to see him go so soon. A true friend. I´ve never experienced a loss like this.

"Tony, Tony, Tony has done it again" - I used to sing these lyrics to him each time I talked to him for he was always up to something - living life to the fullest without fear and taking life by the horns - that was my dear cousin Tony. I have so many memories of Tony, most of them growing up as kids enjoying those Summer months at the cabin taking us water skiing, boating and four-wheeling - he was the best at all of them! One of my favorite memories of Tony is when we took the four wheeler off into some gravel pit and decided to take a steep hill - I'm holding on to him sitting behind him and well, I guess it was too steep for us and we flipped the four wheeler! We both were ok but the ATV was pretty banged up - but we didn't tell our parents what really happened until years later, was our little secret. My most recent memory of Tony is when he dropped everything and flew out to Seattle to walk me down the aisle and give me away at my wedding in 2017 (see photo). That was Tony, always there for you and had the kindest heart. You will be missed by all, always in our hearts and never forgotten. RIP dear cousin, love you.

Tony and I were on the Forest Lake High School ski team together, and I have many fond memories of him making us all laugh. On the ski bus he acted like a comedian, telling jokes and doing impressions. He did a fantastic impression of Andrew Dice Clay!

Tony was one of my favorite cousins!
I was about 5 years older, but we always got along so well, and he was such a kind and generous person. Despite him being younger, he taught me and showed me many things growing up-snowmobiling, water skiing, riding ATV´s, snowboarding. He was always way better than me! He had an impressive knack for all things outdoors and adventurous. Often times I wished that I could live a life more like Cousin Tony! Although his time here was cut sadly short, his experiences and achievements fill a full lifetime. Forever In Peace,

Tony and I met when we were young and seemed to have the same life path as we were part of the same organizations and had many interests aligned as well and even our not so good moments and/or characteristics seemed to be linked as well. From early gymnastics, school, ski team, law enforcement explorers, we both had lawn care businesses, motorcycles, drums & guitars. we've been witness to each other at both our low points and for many successes. He was a jack of all trades and was able to master many of them. An extremely kind and generous person who helped me a few times when I needed it but didn't feel worthy to ask anyone. He was very aware of life and people and what made them tick. He's in a much better place now than the rest of us and we should find comfort in that however my selfish side is sad just for the fact of loosing such a wonderful person in my life and this world as it seems to be far less people of his caliber these days. To Katie and Mr. & Mrs. Brausen my thoughts are with you and we will see you in November. Tony, Thank you for everything!!! It was a pleasure knowing you in this life and we will celebrate it in November. Until next time old pal!

I met Tony through a mutual friend and instantly we had a connection. We became friends immediately. We shared so many interests and debated over others... for hours. He used to leave me voicemails pretending to be different people disguising his voice, it made me laugh for hours. Tony took my son Rorek under his wing of sorts and made/gave him things, taught him things, and would tell him life lessons. My son looked up to him so much. Uncle tony. He always would get on me about wearing a helmet on my motorcycle which turned out to be a very funny inside joke that ill never forget. He was caring and loving. He truly was my kindred spirit. I love you bubba. Never forget that. I'm right behind you running away til we meet again.

I don't remember my first meeting Tony, but I knew I liked him right away! He lived nextdoor to us so I got the privilege of knowing him well. He was funny, supportive, always busy, always eager to help, always there. I remember when our two pine trees toppled over in a bad storm. Tony helped us with the cleanup until there was nothing left but the two big stumps covered in dirt. What to do with them? Tony had the answer! One at a time he dragged those stumps up and down and through the neighborhood streets until the dirt had fallen off of them! Suddenly they weren't so big anymore and we never laughed so hard! I sure loved him. I often would cook him homemade meals to make up for whatever was the junk he ate and he was always so appreciative! That boy knew his manners and used them. Good job, Gordy and Cathy! When he moved, well, neither of us could say goodbye. He did to Marv but he and I had an unspoken agreement that those words would be too hard and he just slipped away. I figured I'd still see him from time to time so I was good with our arrangement. Boy, do I regret that now. I know I would have gotten a hug and a squeeze. I wish I had that good bye to hang onto. But! Still, I have been praying for him and soon, I'll start talking to him, too. We loved you Tony, we miss you. You filled the world with a whole lot of good and the world will be a bit less bright without you in it. Peace.

Tony had such a kind heart and a calm demeanor. He could relate to any age group, he had an old soul, and he loved leftovers. Lots of memories. We will miss him. Dan & Colleen Belland and family.
