Antonio RODAS Obituary
On September 28, 2012, Antonio Fidalgo Rodas of Edmonton passed away at the age of 65 years.
Antonio is survived by two daughters and one son, Manuela Rodas, Joao Rodas, and Sylvia Rodas; one granddaughter, Claudia; one brother and one sister, Joaquin Rodas and Rosa (Antonio) Fidalgo; as well as his extended families. Predeceased by parents, Manuel and Delfina Rodas; and brother, Manuel Rodas.
Prayers Wednesday, October 3 at 6:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church, 12311 – 55 Street.
Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, October 4 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church. Reverend Marinaldo Batista officiating with interment in St. Michael's Cemetery.

hi Papa! I miss you so much and would do n e thing to see your face again. I appreciate everything that you've taught me everything you have done for me and most importantly everything you had sacrificed for me. Nobody could understand nor would even comprehend how much you mean to me. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you , miss your presence, remember your smile , picture ur wave either from the car or the house bay window.... Or the way you used to lean over the fence as you watered your amazing well kept garden. I have always and will continue to look up to you , cherish you .. I'm so proud to call you my FATHER .... My Daddy ! ! ! My ONE and only PAPA! <3 I really do believe at this exact time in life you'd be so proud of me as I do believe you always were. Claudia is growing up into a smart , well -mannered , respectable pre-teen. I am very proud of her... I know you would be too. Im telling u... but I'm sure you probably already know ... Claudia and I took a trip for 16 days to Paris for the Christmas holidays. We stayed with Tio Joaquin for majority of the trip in Paris and of course went to see my Madrinha and Padriho in Nantes. It was amazing .... I needed it for sure. They told me many things about you ... Many memories they had of you. It was absolutely amazing to hear. learning more and more about you was my goal ... And I succeeded. I came back with confirmation that u were always the way you were around me. the way i thought of you. Always well mannered , trustworthy,caring,compassionate, respected, man of his word , and you were always never the one to criticize nor judge. You were Real!!Lets not ever forget how you were always known by many to be the one always best dressed. The family ... Especially your sister Rosa had nothing but great things to say about you. The amount of love she has for you is completely admirable.. She spoke nothing but greatness about you , only stating the obvious of what type of man you are the kind of Brother/Friend you were growing up. I discovered many things that were not told to me ...but yet deep down inside knew existed. Which is ok. .. Everything said .... I'm very happy Papa that I got to spend time and get to know your brother and sister ' my madrinha and Padriho ... Tio. It really helped complete the missing pieces to my puzzle.
