Anna Your Mom was so sweet and helpful to me everytime I shopped at macys. It wont be the same going in there without her smile and sense of humor. I was just a customer at Macys but she was like a friend to me. We lived close by and I would also see her at Krogers alot. She was always kidding me. I am also a Christian and was not awarwe of your Moms strong faith. I lknow she is with Jesus and is in a better place. I pray God will give you strength and uplift you. He is faithful. I didnot find out til yesterday and am still in a state of shock I am so sorry Sincerely Charlotte Tussing

Anna,
I am praying that you will experience comfort, peace, and strength from our blessed Holy Spirit. Your mother was an awesome woman and I was blessed by knowing her.
I think I first met your mom when I taught at Evangel. I have great memories of our time together in Tupperware.

Anna,
I know it's been a long time but I just heard of this today. I'm praying for you that God will give you peace. I have lots of good memories of spending the night at your house when we were kids and your mom and Pumpkin. I'll be praying for you.
Psalm 34:18 - "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Don't forget that He loves you very much and is with you even though He might feel so far away.

Anna,
I am sorry to hear about the loss of your mommy, Arlene. I loved Arlene dearly as a friend. She always gave me big hugs and we always talked about you. She also was a big support for me when my mom died 4 1/2 years ago and always gave me advice about parenting and being a mother.
I will miss her dearly. I will miss seating beside her at church. I will miss how she always told me that the Bible she carried, my mother had given her.
Cherish your memories of your mom and remember God's had a reason for her depart on this earth.

I just found out from a co-worker that Arlene had passed away. She was such a pleasant and humorous person, and she always had a friendly thing to say. She had just told me about going to work part-time, and was so excited about it. It's sad to think that her free-time was cut so short. I'll miss her fruitcake she passed out near the holidays. God bless you, Arlene, and your family.
With deepest sympathy,

Dear Anna,
I just heard about your Mom and our dear friend Arlene. Harriston & I are so sorry for your loss. Every time I saw your Mom she had a sparkle in her eye and a bounce in her step. She was always a joy to be around. Just a wonderful lady. While my heart aches for you, know that she is with Jesus and resting in his arms. We are also praying for you and your family, and will miss your Mom as well.

I first met Arlene back in 1987 when Anna was a student in my first grade class. Anna and my daughter Rachelle became good friends. Arlene and I shared many good times as our girls grew up.
We laughed, cried, and prayed together as life brought its many lessons. Arlene was always there to help and encourage others in any way that she could.
Arlene's faith and trust in her Savior, Jesus Christ allowed her to become the amazing woman that she was and a survivor who worked hard and sacrificed to give Anna what she needed.
Arlene loved and supported Gahanna Christian Academy and considered it family.
I will cherish the memories I have of Arlene and will miss her greatly. Shopping at Macy's will never be the same.
