I missed the anniversary but remember Arnie and the great love he shared with is sweet Suki, his family and friends. There is a heaviness in my heart that he will not be around physically. I do feel his presence when I go hiking in the woods or go for a visit upstate. The sweet memories I have will be with me always. We shared several New Years celebration at his house in Accord. He was so incredibly supportive of me and my partner. I will always miss my dear friend and wish him peace wherever he is. He was a blessing to my life. LOVE YOU , Arnie!

My father's name was Jack Weitzman and his mother was Rose. He was born and grew up in Manhattan in 1908. Family lived in B'klyn and my dad and family in the Bronx. He died in 1998. I thought I might be a relative.

I am so grateful to have shared so many years with my dear friend, Arnie. He started coming to my yoga class at Equinox on 92nd Street and became a member of a tribe of great souls who practiced yoga on Manhattan's Upper West Side. We soon became friends and he invited a group of us to his wedding.
I saw his heart and beautiful blue eyes light up that day.
He invited members of our yoga tribe to visit his new country weekend house near Accord. We celebrated his new life and his new wife welcoming them both into our hearts.
The two of them finally left NYC and made their new life upstate. I continued to visit a couple of times a year. I stayed in their home last August while taking a yoga workshop at Omega. They both welcomed me so sweetly. It was the last time I got to visit with Arnie. We hung out in the pool while Sukie made an amazing meal. I have never seen him so happy. He had gotten the second dog and was trying to train this very playful and mischievous puppy.
He has done such an amazing job on his new house. His master carpentry work is so artful and Suki's decorator's eye have made this home so special, warm and welcoming.
I was invited to their home after he passed and it is beyond beautiful. The only person missing is our dear Arnie. My heart aches for my dear friend and his sweet wife,Suki. I feel his presence in my heart and will never forget his generous heart and loyal friendship. I send you my love, dear friend. Thank you for your love. You are missed.

I will always remember Arnie's warmth and generosity and shared meals and pool parties and sharing memories of Penn and Philadelphia. And I will always remember Arnie's quiet, persistent, patient, generous, strong love of Suki. I can't believe you are gone.
