Audrey FARNSWORTH

FARNSWORTH _ Audrey Eileen 1923 - 2002 Audrey Eileen Farnsworth of Calgary passed away at the McKenzie Towne Nursing Home on Wednesday, December 11, 2002 at the age of 79 years. Audrey was born on October 31, 1923 in Winnipeg, MB. She moved to Calgary in August of 1926 with her family. Audrey attended Rideau Park School, and C.C.I. High School. She was a member of Christ Church since 1928 and Beta Sigma Phi since 1949. Here in Calgary, Audrey worked for Royal Securities. She spent twenty years in the investment business and over eighteen years as an Executive Secretary of the Rotary Club of Calgary. She was made a Paul Harris Fellow by the club upon her retirement. Audrey is survived by a brother Ron Farnsworth; nieces and nephews, Cathy Cairns (Calvin), Jim Farnsworth (Wendy), Janice Farnsworth, and Margo Farnsworth (Doug), all of Calgary; and great-nieces and nephews, Trevor, Shawn, Margo and Jami. Audrey was predeceased by her parents Herbert and Mary. Funeral Services will be held at Christ Church Elbow Park (3602 - 8 Street S.W.) on Tuesday, December 17, 2002 at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. William P. Pike and the Rev. Roy Darcus officiating. Graveside Service to follow at Queen's Park Cemetery.
