Dear Debbie, I am so shaken by the loss of your precious son. I can't begin to imagine what you must be going through. I wish I had known Austin, what a tremendous blessing he must have been in your life and to all who knew him! You must be so proud of him as you read and hear of how much he meant to those around him and of the positive impact and influence he had on others. I wish I could find something to say to ease your pain but I know there are just no words for a time like this. With being right nextdoor to the accident I am constantly reminded of your family. Everytime I drive by the site of the accident my heart goes out to you all over again and I spend alot of time lifting you and your family up in prayer as I drive to wherever I am going. Please know that you will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. May God wrap you in His arms and surround you with His peace that passes all understanding. Much love to you and your family~

You know.. I didn't know Austin personally. But he was friends with soo many of my friends. I read this, and went through his facebook, and Katies.. He's a great kid. I'm not going to say "Was" because he still is. Just somewhere else.<3 He was a strong, happy Christian. He's okay, up above. I'm so sorry for loss, everybody. Haha, it really really said something to me when I saw "Wear blue in memory of Austin Arnold" or something like that. Never have I seen a franchise do that.. He seemed like an amazing guy. To his family, and Katie, everybody, stay strong and hold it together. Nobody deserves to loose a son.. Ian, I hope you're okay too, man.

To Austin,
Man,you were an amazing guy. Things won't be the same without you. You have no idea how many people have had their days brightened just by talking to you for a mere three seconds. You will be severely missed. Have fun in heaven bro. GO VIKINGS!

To the family,
There is truly nothing I can say to comfort you. Just know that God knows best and he needed him. Austin has left an amazingly large legacy, especially for someone so young. God Bless You and help you through this trying time.

January 17, 2012

I took time to read all the entries in Austin's guest book and, like many others, did not know him personally, but wanted to express my heartfelt sorrow for his mom, dad, brother and all those who knew him. As soon as I heard about the accident, my mind fast forwarded 10yrs. because I have a precious 6yr old grandson that I love more than life. There are no words to heal the hurt of not having Austin's physical presence any longer, and only God knows why - but we, as Christians, can look forward to the day when ALL will be reunited in heaven. I wish and pray for your comfort and peace that only God can give in the days ahead.

To Austin's Family & Friends,
Our Father in heaven,
I pray that you will comfort all that knew Austin. I ask, Lord, that you will let this young man's testimony be a light for many more. Please help them to see you through the same eyes that Austin did. I am writing this from Richmond, Virginia which tells me, Lord God, you have no boundaries and I ask that your Gospel would go out to people near and far. After hearing a few eye witness accounts of this young ambassador of your Word, there are no limits as to how much glory he can bring to you, Lord God. Even though he died a physical death, he lives on in You forevermore.

I also pray for Ian Addison's healing. I pray dear Lord for your grace and favor on him and his family. Father, I pray that you will hold all these people from my hometown close and give them that peace that surpasses all man's understanding.

I did not know this young man nor do I know his family, but my prayers and thoughts are with you...I have been where you are standing. From reading all the comments it is obvious that this young man was a wonderful loving person. My daughter was killed when she was 15. I learned then that the good die young. God will comfort you and give you the strength that you need to overcome this. Losing one of your children is the hardest things in the world but he said he wouldn't put more on us than we could bare. The children that we have are not ours they are only barrowed for awhile. Keep your eyes on the Eastern Sky and one day you will see your son again. Never give up on God and his amazing love...and he will guide you through, there will be time when it seems you can't go on that's when God will be the closest. I won't tell you that I am sorry for your loss because he is in the arms of God and that is far better than anything this world has to offer.

Jennifer, Ben and Madeline Good

January 16, 2012

To Austin's family,
I never had the honor of meeting Austin, but my son, Ben Good, considered him a close friend. When he told me what had happened words were beyond me, but the rationalization that I could only come up with was that God needed Austin..that he chose him for his goodness. Ben said if that was the case, Austin would have been God's first pick.
We are so sorry for your loss and will keep you close to our hearts and will pray for you as you heal.

Gary, Debbie, Jayson, Kay and Jay nd the rest of the close and wonderful family, As I always told you, Debbie, Austin always had that wonderful sweet spirit in him and that will live on forever, there are so many memories of him over the years. One of our favorites is him going to ride Meg's horse with us he would just laugh the entire time, that special laugh that just filled your heart with his sweet spirit. Megan and I are praying for your family and know that Austin went thru those gates of heaven and Johnny met him with his special smile and now they are both in our eternal home waiting for us. We love you.

I pray that God brings your family peace! I lost my brother when he was just 17 years old. It was such a heartbreak to our family as well. We wondered why God would take him at early age but soon realized that God has a plan for each of us. I have read so much about your son over the past few days and I had seen him him at several games with the Viking hat and beard. He is an inspiration to me and my teenage children and will continue to be. He is the perfect example of the Christian we wish we all could be.
