My condolence to the family, she was a kind woman who often reminded us how greatful she was to have had the life she had and how proud she was of all of her family. I couldn't of been more blessed to have helped her in her later years of life. Rest in Pease my love!

Will miss you so very much Aunt Barbie. So many happy memories from my childhood and up until passing. Thankful you are now laughing on streets of gold and having good times with Mom, Dad, and others. Until we see you again. xoxo

Barbara was a constant friend in my childhood years. She let us play hide and seek in the house, skate on the "pond" besides her steps, and even shared a birthdate with me. She could control the motley crowd of neighborhood kids with words and a look but she also had a ready smile and glint in her eye. I will always remember how we would laugh together over some silly thing. How lucky I was to have her as my neighbor.

So sorry to learn of Barbara's passing in the BDN today. Sincere condolences to all her family. Barbara was a wonderful woman and helped care for and raise many children in and around the Corinth area (including our son). She touched the lives of others and will be remembered by many. RIP
