Mary, so sorry to hear of Barrie's passing. I recall the day I met Barrie, sometime in the late 1970's... he pulled into the Cotulla "bus station" and I checked his passengers, searching for illegal aliens. I think I checked him too... although I don't recall the details, he must have been ok, as he married my best friend's mother just a few years later. RIP Barrie... thoughts and prayers to Mary and the family.

I don't think I can express well how much I am going to miss Barrie. He was a poet at heart, in all the ways that means. It was an honor to know him. My thoughts and prayers to you, Mary and your entire family.

Barrie was not only one of my favorite Clients, but a dear person and friend. I greatly enjoyed our almost daily conversations about the many topics Barrie and I shared an interest in, including: wristwatches, trains (real and models), aircraft, boating, Formula 1 Racing, autos, politics, pets, and occasionally investments. Coincidentally, my Mom also past away the same day. Barrie was a very unique person, with a great wit and deep concern for others including my Mom, who he always inquired about during her recent infirmity. It was a blessing to visit with Barrie last Thursday, when I took a brief break from my Mom's hospital bedside to return to my office in Boerne. The Lord blessed me with these two warm, wonderful people in my life, and also provided me with an opportunity to share time with both of them in their final days. My prayers and thoughts are with Barrie and his wonderful family.
