BEATRICE BEHELER

SHELBY-Beatrice Kirby Beheler, age 90, of Shelby, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016, at Peak Resources of Shelby.

Born in Rutherford County, N.C., on Aug. 23, 1925, Beatrice was the daughter of the late K.C. Kirby Sr. and Indiana Medford Kirby.

She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and retired as a seamstress from Doncaster and Tanner.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn R. Beheler; four sisters and two brothers.
She is survived by sons, Ray Beheler and wife Madge, Marshall Beheler and wife Marcha; grandchildren, Michele Riffey and husband Travis, Kirby Beheler and wife Keaton, Tabitha Rice and husband John; several great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson.

The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 p.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home.

A funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 14, 2016, at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel, officiated by Dr. Timothy Sims.

A private interment will be at Cleveland Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby, NC 28150.
