Services for Becky Lynn Quick Singletary of Thomasville are at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2009, at Pineland Baptist Church. Dr. Jimmy Clanton and the Rev. Dr. Dan Spencer will officiate and interment is in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jay Lowe, Jim Prine, Marty Lutes, Danny Sangster, Clarke Carr and Earl McCabe. Mrs. Singletary died Sunday, Feb. 8 at Archbold Hospital. Born Dec. 5, 1955 in Thomasville, she was a daughter James Alton Quick of Thomasville and the late Rhoda Margaret Singletary. She was married to Robert Curtis Singletary of Thomasville. She retired from the United Postal Service, attended Dillon Presbyterian Church and a member of Pineland Baptist Church. She enjoyed giving parties for special occasions for friends and family. She loved to draw and read. She grew up playing the piano at Dillon Presbyterian Church and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Her home was open to everyone. Survivors include her husband, Robert Curtis Singletary of Thomasville; son and daughter-in-law, Jared Singletary and Kathryn of Thomasville; sons, Titus Singletary, Dylan Singletary both of Thomasville; her father, Alton Quick of Thomasville; sisters, Susan Sangster, Karen Quick both of Thomasville; grandson, Stone Singletary of Thomasville; granddaughter, Dawson Singletary of Thomasville; nephew, Danny Sangster of Mt. Pleasant, N.C.; and her beloved dog, Toe. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., today at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dillon Presbyterian Church, 3041 Dillon Rd., Thomasville, Ga. 31757. — Whiddon-Shiver Funeral Home
