Benny Preston Martin

Benny Preston Martin, 55, of Larkspur, CO, died Friday, January 23, 2015, at his home in Larkspur.
Memorial services will be held at 9:30 a.m. At Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, CO.
Benny was born on June 29, 1959, to Charles and Winona (Scroggins) Martin in Clovis, NM.
Benny graduated Clovis High School in 1978. In 1980, he joined the USAF and served his country for 20 years. During his time in service he was a Crew Chief on the Presidential Fleet of Planes and a Database Administrator for Man Power Studies.
After his time in service, Benny worked as a Data Base Administrator for Lockheed Martin at Buckley AFB and as a gunsmith. He loved to hunt, fish, and spend time with his goats and family.
Benny was proceeded in death by his mother, Winona "Nonie" Martin; father Charles "Maynard" Martin; 2 sisters Donna Gayle Martin and Rhonda Naydene Martin and his son Charles "Charlie"Edward Martin.
He is survived by the love of his life, wife Patty Martin; step daughter, Crystal Hays; stepson, C.J. (Amy) Gallegos; granddaughters, Lily Bauer and Angel Gallegos; grandsons, Preston Young and Logan Gallegos; brother, Bobby (Joanne) Martin; sister, Carla Fickel; twin sister, Brenda (Monte) Brady and numerous nieces and nephews.
