Benson Brooks Page, Jr., 81, of Caro, Michigan passed into the presence of his Savior, Jesus Christ, in Midland, Michigan on Jan. 30, 2024.

Ben was born on Jan. 16, 1943 in Detroit, MI. He was the eldest son of Benson Brooks Page, Sr., and Christine Edith Massey. Ben and his childhood sweetheart, Nancy Joan Ross, were united in marriage on Mar. 9, 1962, and had four children. Ben was a devoted and loving husband and father.

Ben served in the Michigan State Police, beginning as a Trooper at the Bay City Post in 1964 and retiring as the Commander of the Bridgeport Post in 1992. He went on to serve as Chief of Police in Caro, MI, where he retired in 2009, with a total of 45 years in-service.

Ben was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, his brother Donald Page, his son Brenton Page, and his granddaughter Paige Welliver. He is survived by his daughter Kimberly (Bruce) Welliver, his daughter-in-law Lisa Bosse, his son Gray (Shelley) Page, and his daughter Sommer Page; as well as grandchildren: Brooks, Taylor, Lindsay, Garrett, Julia, Jacob, Caleb, and Luke; and Great-Grandchildren: Piper, Hudson, Bennett, David, Theo, Odin, and Calvin. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider "The Power Company Kids Club" in his honor.

Visitation (10am) and Memorial (11am) will be held at First Baptist Church of Midland, MI, on Saturday, February 3.

Ben and I both retired from the Bridgeport Post in 1992. I enjoyed the time working with Ben in Bridgeport.
