Bernadette LEONARD Obituary
1957 - 2013
Bernadette Jacqueline Leonard of Burnaby BC passed away peacefully on Wednesday 6th February 2013 surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband Franco Ferrucci, her mother Margaret Leonard, father Jean Léonard, her stepmother Suzanne LeBuis and her brothers and sister Yvon, Dean and Joanne Léonard. She was born in Montreal and lived there until 1985 when she moved to Vancouver where she met the love of her life, Franco, and married him in 1992. She saw only the good in each person and lived her life to the very end with optimism and a positive outlook. She loved to travel, found immense joy in her garden and hosted lively dinner parties for her close friends and family. With grateful hearts, we thank the medical family at Burnaby Hospital for their admirable care, especially in Palliative Care. A celebration of Bernadette's life will be held on Wednesday 13th February at 3:00 at Bell & Burnaby Funeral Chapel, 4276 Hastings St, Burnaby. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Burnaby Hospital would be greatly appreciated.

I had the honnor to meet Bernadette and her family on Querbes street in Outremont. As a young men, I remember such a lovely smile, like on her picture and so kind with everyone. Always smiling Bernadette, So much great memories of so little time spend with all of you. Life went on, but all these beautiful smiles stayed in my heart. My deepest sympathies to dear Franco, dear Bernadette's parents and dear siblings.

I am very saddened to hear of Bernadette's passing. We knew each other from Fiasco's and enjoyed watching cartoon and commercial festivals together. She had an amazing smile and we could talk for hours. I don't know Franco but he must miss her deeply.
