Birdie IS....A fragrance we'll never forget. Comfort we will often feel. Serious life lessons we won't forget. A person of grace and immense character. Life lessons shared. Birdie IS forever woven in our hearts because that's where she was all along. Now she IS there all along. The despair is incredible. The grief will be long lived, but will dim in the light that Nanny IS. Salute to the best grandmother a person could ask. Xoxo and "I love you more...."

I will miss strolls at the park with snacks and visiting the Bronx zoo. My favorite memories with my Nana, were the 'sleep overs', I loved my Nana's cooking because she cooked with love. One distinctive memory I will brag of, was the fragrance in her home when my siblings and I would visit. The kind scent was pleasant and always lifted you up. My Nana was blessed with longevity and will always be loved. Most of all she will be missed and never forgotten.

Our nanny loved to go to the park. She loved the park almost as much as she loved going to the Bronx Zoo or City Island. She loved being outside, in the fresh air. She was an avid reader who loved her books. Most of all, she had a incredible sense of humor and a great laugh. It was the most infectious laugh that would make you laugh with her. I think I will miss that most of all. There are so many things that I will miss about her, things that I can't even begin to articulate. Words will never be able to fully express the sorrow I feel at her passing. She was truly one of a kind. I will miss her more than anyone will ever know.
