Beverly Jane Batchelder passed away August 1, 2022 with her husband Robert W. Batchelder at her side, in Wilmington, NC.
Beverly was born in 1929 in West Allis, Wisconsin where she met Bob at the age of twelve. The two spent seventy-two years I loving marriage before pancreatic cancer took her life.
Beverly will be remembered for her devotion to family, nursing and the church. As Bob remarked: “Jesus will be receiving a tireless worker.”
She is survived by her husband, Robert W. Batchelder; grandsons, Alexander R. Batchelder (Savannah), David Bret Batchelder (Haley) and Austin Batchelder; granddaughter, Aubrey Alves (Luis) and four great-granddaughters and son, Craig R. Batchelder.
Her beloved son, Curt Lane Batchelder predeceased “Nana” in 2019.
To honor Beverly’s memory, donations may be made to the Robert W. and Beverly J. Batchelder Fund for Health, Physical Education and Recreation University of Wisconsin – La Crosse Foundation 615 East Avenue North, La Crosse, WI 54601.
Services will be held privately.

I wasn’t prepared for this to be the last time we saw our Nana, but I find peace and comfort knowing she is now with my dad. How my girls adored her. She is so very missed.

I recently met Ms Bev a little over a month ago. She greeted me with open arms and so much love and she called me an Angel, well that´s totally on the contrary because she was the Angel!! Loved by her beautiful family and I´m sure by everyone! I will miss you Ms beautiful! My love and condolences to the Batchhelder family
