I can't believe that Beverly is gone! Tragic! I'll never forget her hospitality when she let me spend the week with her in the summer of 1988, after she had recently moved to Los Angeles to work for Cedars-Sinai. I'm in shock, reading this obituary ten years after she died.

To Beverly's Family,
I met Beverly while attending USC, and she left an indelible impression on my heart. One of the sweetest, purest, most genuine person i've met throughout Carolina and beyond. In my heart, she will never be forgotten.
I pray that the peace of God comforts you in this most challenging hour, and forever more. & Thank You for sharing her light and love with us.
~ Tab.

Mrs. James, The memories of our childhood will be cherished always. Everywhere you looked, it was Beverly, Maxine and Carolyn. I'll miss that infectious laugh and beautiful smile! What a blessing to have known such a beautiful, giving, and loving soul. Beverly will be sorely missed. I pray the love of Jesus enfolds you through this difficult time.

To all Beverly's Sorors especially those who were on line with her at University of South Carolina, Beverly is once again hand in hand with Sandra Holloway singing:
She may be an Omega Sweetheart
Or the Dream Girl of A Phi A.
She may wear a Kappa diamond
Her love may a Sigma be
But if she wears the Delta Symbol,
Then her first love is DST.
She may be an Omega Sweetheart
Or a Dream Girl of A Phi A.
She may wear a Kappa diamond
Her love may a Sigma be
But if she wears the Delta Symbol,
Then her first love is DST...
