Beverly Jean (Larson) Prather 75-- (Resident of Fergus Falls, MN) passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at the Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND after receiving excellent medical attention from a recent illness and fainting spell which caused a fall.
Beverly was born on December 6, 1949 in Bertha, Minnesota, the daughter of Oliver and Nina (Grow) Larson. She graduated from Bertha-Hewitt High School in 1968 and later earned a Bachelor of Science degree from NDSU (North Dakota State University) in Fargo, ND. Her education led to employment in assisting disadvantaged adults in various locations. Throughout Beverly’s life she has been very supportive in caring for community and family members. She has always been commended for maintaining her strong Christian faith.
Beverly is survived by her son Daniel (Dan) Prather of Moorhead, MN and Dan’s father and Beverly’s former husband, Wayne Prather of Little Falls, MN; brother, Richard Larson and wife Elsie Larson of Machias, Maine; children of late sister Susan (Larson) Edenloff, son Dennis and daughter Sarina of Circle Pines, MN along with Sarina’s two children Summer and Cullin residing in MN; daughter of late brother Robert (Bob) Larson, Jennifer Knight and family of Rolla, MO.; many other relatives, friends including two close friends, Cami Crater and Megan Anderson of Fergus Falls, MN. Beverly will also be missed by her fellow faithful friends who attended a Sunday evening Bible Study.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents Oliver and Nina (Grow) Larson, sister Susan (Larson) Edenloff, brother Robert Larson and brother-in-law David Edenloff.
A funeral service will be held on March 11, 2025, at 2:00 P.M., at the Glende-Nilson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls, MN--preceded by one hour of visitation before the service. Interment will be held at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Fergus Falls, MN.
