Timothy Francis Breider, age 82, of Fridley, passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025. He was born to the late August and Jeanette (Wegler) Breider in St. Cloud, MN on August 17, 1943.
A funeral mass will be held at 11am on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at the Church of St. Timothy, Blaine. Family will greet friends from 5-8pm on Friday, October 3, 2025 at Miller Funeral Home, Fridley, and for one hour prior to the service at the church. Tim will be laid to rest at Hillside Cemetery in Fessenden, ND at a later date.
In his youth, Tim worked alongside his dad at the Texaco station in Fessenden. He attended the Richardton Abbey during High School and graduated from NDSU with an Electrical Engineer degree. Tim used his degree at Univac and Control Data until he started up a business, Tempo Enterprises Inc, which prospered for over 20 years. He also served his community and church as a coach, Fridley city councilman, and a Confirmation moderator.
Tim enjoyed the simple pleasures in life and his greatest joy was his family. He enjoyed spending time with his wife and family at their cabin and sharing in the lives of his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
He also enjoyed a good cup of coffee and solitaire.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Ruth (Lies) Breider; children, Brian (Julie) Breider, Christina “Sissy” (Paul) Rooney, Lisa Brueske, Jeff Breider, and Missy (Steve) Foley; son-in-law, Mark Brueske; 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and siblings, Annette (Jason) Skiftun and Mike (Cindy) Breider.
In addition to his parents, Tim is preceded in death by his sister, Barb Bourassa.
