Richard “Rick” J. Theisen was born on September 13, 1954, to John “Jack” and Barbara “Barb” Theisen in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He passed away on November 2, 2025.
Rick was a devoted family man who made his loved ones his greatest priority - he never missed a sporting event or a chance to cheer on his kids and grandkids. He had a love for music, enjoyed the excitement of a good casino trip, and brought joy and laughter to everyone around him with his easygoing nature and quick wit.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Joe. Rick is survived by his loving wife, Marlene “Missy” Theisen; his five children, Melissa (Joe), Nichole (Cory), Brianne, John (Mel), and Becky (Mike); his cherished grandchildren, Dylan, Jeremy, Juniper, Ayden, Finn, Teddy, and Lane; as well as his siblings, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
A celebration of Rick’s life will be held at Serenity Village Community Church, 4100 Douglas Drive North, Crystal, Minnesota 55422, on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 2:00–5:00 p.m.
