Beverly Quinn Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Aug. 19 to Aug. 21, 2008.
QUINN – Beverly A., 65, Langhorne, was received into heaven through her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Aug. 18, 2008, at St. Mary Medical Center. Born and raised in Johnstown, Beverly moved to Levittown at the age of 19. She was a member of St. Frances Cabrini parish. She was formerly employed with the United Way as director of management information systems, as a planning assistant with Lenox and a home services project coordinator with Home Depot. Beverly was a member of the Red Hat Society, where she served as treasurer. She was also a member of the Levittown Fire Company 2 auxiliary and the Middletown Senior Citizens. Beverly formerly served as a Girl Scout leader with Troop 555 and with the Fairless Hills Rescue Squad, where she served as past vice president. She was an avid bowler and was a member of the Penndel Bowling League. She was a member of several card clubs and enjoyed bingo. Beverly will be remembered as a person who loved life and lived each moment to the fullest. She had a contagious smile which was the first thing people noticed about her. Beverly was the devoted daughter of Naomi Green Mutter of Langhorne and the late Louis P. Mutter. She was the loving mother of four daughters: Beverly Darnley of Levittown; Susan Loncosky, and her husband, Joseph of Langhorne; Karen Thomas, and her husband, Scott of Bellevue, Neb.; and Jennifer Gaun, and her husband, Ken of Levittown. She was an extremely devoted grandmother of Ricky (Carla), Dan, Brittany, Joey, Breanna, Kimberly, Kevin, Ashley, Amanda, April, Andrew, Kristin and Kenny, and she will be sadly missed by her two sisters: Nancy Petrovich of Langhorne and Connie Lewis (Robbin) of Pittsburgh, and several nephews. Family and friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 9 to 10:15 a.m. Friday at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Her funeral service and celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Bucks County Community Church, 1249 Maple Ave., Langhorne. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, High Point Professional Building, 700 Horizon Circle, Suite 201, Chalfont, Pa. 18914.

My deepest sympathy to all the family at the sudden loss of Beverly, I have some really fun memories of our times together through our high school years. I appreciated very much all the up-dates through the care pages. It's comforting to realize the deep faith your family shares. God bless all of you.

Dear Mrs. Mutter,

I was so sorry to hear of Bev's passing. I have fond memories of her from our school days. I sponsored her when she turned Catholic. Andy and I visited with her several times when we came to Yardley. You all will be in our prayers.

Dear Mrs. Mutter, Nancy, Connie and all of Bev's family, I was saddened to hear of Bev's passing. I remember often the Mutter and Green families and all the good times we had as children growing up in Berkley Hills.

Please accept my deepest sympathy.
