Bill SAVAGE Obituary
March 23, 1963 - April 11, 2012
Bill Savage, beloved husband of Sandra Hambrook of Okotoks, Alberta, passed away suddenly on April 11, 2012 at the age of 49 years. Bill was raised in Vancouver, British Columbia and moved to the Calgary area in the early 1990's where he and Sandra started their family. He successfully owned and operated Fringe Fencing and Sod Ltd. Bill had a passion for motorcycles. He loved riding and later found an interest for riding dirt bikes with his son. He was a marvelous cook who enjoyed his own creations. His family always came first in his heart and he would do anything for them. He loved life to the fullest. Bill is survived by his loving wife Sandra, daughter Chelsea, and son Nicolas; sisters Tina (Howard) Sisson, Alice Savage (Geoff Willis); parents-in-law Hazel and Adolf Knopp, and Allan and Hazel Hambrook; as well as sisters and brothers-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. Bill is predeceased by his parents Vera and Alexander. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) today, April 20, 2012 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. A celebration of Bill's life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com . Memorial tributes may be made directly to the Visitor Aloha Society of Hawaii (Waikiki Shopping Plaza, 2250 Kalakaua Avenue, Suite 403-3, Honolulu, HI 96815). In living memory of Bill Savage, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park.

Bill was such a nice man, I enjoyed working with him, he had so much energy and always talked about his family. He was a very proud man.

Chelsea I just met you in Arizona with Cub and group but I could tell by all the phone calls how much you loved your parents. I grieve with you at the loss of your father. Grief is individually felt and gone through; may the love you have known from him protect you and help you as you go through this time. Time Will turn the pain to a blanket that will warm you.
