Roberts Family,
My deepest condolence goes out to you all. Even though much time has passed, I know that pain is still present but I promise that times will get better. It's amazing to see how many people loved Blake. I was blessed to have him in my life for a short time. I was a grade below Blake at Edina High School. We become friends during the summer of 2010. We sadly lost touch once I went off to college. When I heard about his passing, I was completely shocked and it took me awhile to come to terms with that fact that he is truly gone. I had recently read Blake's obituary and I must say, it was a beautifully written. It truly depicted the perfect imagine of who Blake truly was. He was such a funny person and he had no trouble making anyone smile, especially me. Blake has been on my mind a lot lately which has led me to think of his family, and this is why I am writing this. I am sorry I never got a chance to meet any of you, but know that even months after his passing, Blake is still on the minds of many people. He had an impact on many lives, and continues to do so.

Ann and the Roberts family;
I was so saddened to read of your son Blakes death. I cannot begin to imagine the loss that you are all feeling. Though I did not know Blake, his obituary was a beautiful tribute to a beautiful young man. Ann, I haven't seen you in over 20 years, but I was roommates in the Uptown area with you and Gayle. Dear Ann, Bill, and Family,
Please accept our deepest condolences on Blake's tragic loss. We haven't seen him in quite awhile, but Mom and I have talked fondly about him (and your whole family) over the years. Blake had such a sparkle. I remember attending a hockey game when Blake was the goalie and wondering how such a little guy could play so big.

To the entire Roberts family,
I dont know you and I did not know this extraordinary young man, but I want to offer my deepest sympathy for your tragic loss. I am a friend of the Enright family. I am a parent of a free spirited young
man also. I cant even begin to comprehend what you and Blake's siblings are going through. Blake's obituary was an amazing tribute,unlike any other obituary i have ever read. I felt sad reading it, but also "happy" to learn about how special this young man is to so many and how he loved life! In bed last night I kept thinking......why did this happen? This is so wrong! I prayed that you might have even a brief moment that might relieve your
heartache..............the bond you shared with Blake is a precious thing! Many young men grow older and live long lives and still never experience this type of connection to their parents and I am so happy that Blake had that special honor. I wish you all peace, and comforting memories as you try to live your lives without Blake's physical presence. I am hoping he will visit you in your dreams often...............

Robs and Ann....Blake's obit was the most moving obit and not having met Blake, it certainly captured a special spirit. It is very evident that Blake was a young man you should be proud of. I am so sorry for your loss.. I usuall ready the obituarys to say rest in peace to all of the people and when I came across your sons I stopped and read it and cried as I have two grandsons one 21 and one 16 who are just like Blake,,Christians and sports guys and they always hang up with I love you grandma and it sounded just like him... I am so sorry for your loss... I asked God why he needed him... and the angels must of needed a fine young man to teach the snowboarders in heaven how to work the jumps and to teach the oung kids how to say I Love You to the grandparents and parents when they said goodbye... so maybe this help some of the hurt every night when you lay your head down...knowing God and the angels need him... thanks for letting me say "rest in peace" as I do every day when I go thru the obituarys.. may God give you some peace and the grandmas too as I am one...
