Funeral service for Blanche Geraldine Wilhite will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2017 in the First Baptist Church, Snyder, Okla.
Burial will be in the Rogers Cemetery, southwest of Snyder under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home of Snyder.
The family will greet friends 6-8 p.m. Monday, March 13, 2017 at the funeral home.
Blanche Geraldine Wilhite, 92, Snyder passed away Friday, March 10, 2017 in Marlow, Okla.
She was born November 1, 1924 in Headrick, Okla. to Olen and Otha (Thompson) Adams.
She married Willie Lee (Junior) Wilhite on December 27, 1945 in Snyder. He preceded her in death on January 14, 2013. Blanche was a loving and caring mother, grandma and mammy to all her family. She was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church in Snyder, where she was in charge of the nursery for 40 years.
Survivors include her two children and their spouses, Denise and Paul Richardson of Duncan, Keith and Brenda Wilhite of Snyder; seven grandchildren, JoAnn and David O'Connor of Tipton, Brian and Sheila Wilhite of Snyder, Rebecca Young of Snyder, Brooke and Casey Miller of Duncan, Jed Richardson of Duncan, Delisa and Gary Jennings of Snyder and Brent and Jennifer Stroud of Ada. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Blanche was preceded in death by her parents, husband, an infant baby girl, her brother Raymond Littlefield and his wife Pete and her sister Tressie Wright and her husband Paul.
