Blandine Kurtz Obituary
Blandine is loved and remembered by her husband, Ronald Kurtz; daughter Alyssa (Cory) Dorsett Rother of Victoria; step-daughters Amanda Kurtz and Lauren Kurtz both of Victoria; sons, Jared Dorsett of Houston, Clayton (Katie) Dorsett of Houston, Matthew Dorsett of Victoria; grandchildren, Mason Rother and Blaise Dorsett; parents, Judge Whayland and Dolores Kilgore; sisters, Mary (Chris) Coughran of Argyle, Dianne (Aubrey) Blalock, Denise (Gregory) Jolly of Victoria, Eileen (Charles) Bullock of Inez, Patrice (Fred) Stanford of Victoria, Ida (Bill) Sebera of Fredericksburg; brothers, Thomas (Lynette) Kilgore of Inez, Daniel (Sheila) Kilgore of Victoria, Patrick (Melodie) Kilgore of Sugar Land, Wayne ( Stacey) Kilgore of Montgomery
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jeff Dorsett and brothers, Joseph and John Kilgore.
Visitation will be held on Friday January 27, 2017 from 12:30-1:30 PM at Our Lady of Victory Cathedral with a rosary to be recited at 1:30 PM and the Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 2 PM. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Brett Stanford, Justin Stanford, Michael Jolly, Ray Cavazos, Stephen Koch and Jeff Copeland.

We are deeply saddened for your loss. Please accept our deepest sympathy. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Blandine was a special and beautiful person. She also was a fantastic babysitter for us years ago when my 3 children were very small. May she rest in peace.
