Naples - Bonnie Cordelia Stephens, a longtime resident of Naples, Florida, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 28, 2025. She was born on August 28, 1949, in Danville, Virginia, the beloved daughter of the late Jessie Turner Stephens and Fletcher T. Stephens Jr. She was preceded in death by her dear brother, Richard Carrington Stephens.

A proud U.S. Army veteran, Bonnie served her country with honor as a photographer, including distinguished work at the Pentagon, where she used her talent to capture meaningful and noteworthy moments during her service.

She was a devoted aunt to her nieces Mareeska Stephens Savage and Kristena Stephens Bradley, and her nephew Richard Craig Stephens, all of whom she held close to her heart. Bonnie was also loved by her many cousins, who cherished her kindness, humor, and generous spirit. She had a deep love for animals, especially her cats, with her favorite companions being Samantha and Ming.

Her faith was a guiding light in her life. Bonnie was deeply committed to her church and found great joy in the fellowship of her church family. She also had a passion for exploring the world around her and savoring good food, always embracing life's simple pleasures.

In honor of Bonnie's memory and her devotion to her faith, the family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Naples Church of Christ.

Address: 12760 Livingston Road, Naples, Florida 34105

Bonnie will be peacefully remembered in Danville, Virginia, where a private burial will take place.

Bonnie's life was a beautiful journey of service, love, and discovery. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
