I was quite sad to learn of Boris's death. I only met him once (as a small child 9 yrs old when he played in Kalamazoo Mi. in 1981) He signed a game program for me and became my favorite player. My condolences to the Fistric Family. Boris was quite a character. Out of love and respect I remember him

Just found out about this. This hurts to find out Boris passed away. I was friends with Boris when he played for the New Westminster Bruins. I introduced Boris to his future wife Darlene. I'm at a loss for words and all I can say is that I LOVE YOU and your family.

Darlene & Family,
I was so saddened to hear that Boris passed away. My thoughts are with you and your family. Remembering Boris has always brought smiles to me, his laughter, how he loved the smell of your make-up, breaking chairs. What an amazing man he was. I feel so grateful that I got to know him. I will always cherish those memories of fun times with you & him. My deepest sympathy.

To the Fistric Family;
While Boris is first remembered as a minor hockey player from the Canadian Athletic Club, then a feared New Westminster Bruin, he is best remembered as a great dad and fun, enthusiastic member of our Lago Lindo Community League. Sadly missed, fondly remembered; thank you for the memories. Our sincere condolences.
