BRIAN W. CAMPBELL

March 6, 1963 March 17, 2023

Brian W. Campbell left us on March 17, 2023. Brian was the life of the party with a smile that could light-up any room. He lived life to the fullest and was most passionate about his son Chad, motorcycles and surfing. He also really enjoyed coaching Chad when he was a little guy. Not only did Brian love these activities, he excelled. In 2012, he was on the Baja Score Class 40 Championship team along with Billy Cotton, Brian Sweaney, Pete Cochran, Ken Durr and Mike Kornwinder. In 2019 he joined Jeff Kaplan, Louie Franco and Kevin Ward on the winning team for the Score Baja 1000. His adventurous spirit will live on in all who knew him.

Bakersfield born and raised, Brian attended Colonel Nichols Elementary, Norris Elementary, and North High School. His love for motorcycles started at an early age and was something he loved sharing with his son and later his great nephews. Surfing came later in life and brought many new friends and experiences. He loved teaching Chad how to surf. He and his wife started a successful company which he was involved in for many years. Whatever Brian did, he gave it 100%.

He was preceded in death by his parents, H. Durwood and Jacqueline (Jackie) Campbell. He is survived by Ann and their son Chad, brother M. Kirt (Andrea) Campbell, sister Terri Hicks and numerous nieces and nephews and countless friends.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Kurt Caselli Foundation on his behalf. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at Coconut Joe's Banquet Hall, 4000 Easton Drive, Bakersfield from noon - 3pm.
