Brian Cosley Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 3, 2007.
Cosley, Brian J., age 23, of San Juan Capistrano, moved on to be with the Lord on July 29, 2007. Brian was a loving son, brother and friend who will be deeply missed. Brian loved his family, his friends, food, music, the beach, and any sport he could get hurt participating in. He will always be known for his great courage and his handsome smile. Brian bravely fought a battle that most could hardly imagine and is now assuredly resting in the peace that comes only through Christ. He is survived by his father, Jim; mother, Chris; sister, Bonnie; and brothers, Matt and Jim. Services will be held at Pacific Coast Church on Tuesday, August 7 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please send any donations to Teen Challenge, PO Box 236, Santa Ana, CA 92702, memo: In memory of Brian Cosley.

I'm so happy that I got to spend some time with Brian two weeks ago. Even though I'm his aunt and I didn't get to see him as much as I wanted I know from my visit that he truly loved his family and friends. I have a letter from Brian that he sent me after the visit that I will cherish forever. The letter represented Brian's love for his family and friends and I know his spirit will be amongst us forever. Our love forever, Christy, Vince & Blake

Looking at the pictures of Brian from his My Space, I see a wonderful and handsome face that is the perfect combination of Jim and Chris. Reading his profile, I see a brave and intelligent young man who fought a horrific battle. I am so sorry for your loss and pray that the love of your family and friends will help you through this unimaginable time.
