Dear Steve and Family,
Brian and I graduated in the same class at Bolton High School. Our class was very small and we were all close. Brian was always kind and friendly to all. I always think of him with a guitar in hand and a smile on his face. I'm so sorry for your loss. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

"It's been one of those days. When it all seems to slip away. I close my eyes and try to see your face..." A few lines from my favorite BC tune. Whenever BC was in the room, people were usually laughing. He brought fun and warmheartedness into our group. But when the music started, his entire being went into his song. So much passion. He gave so much encouragement to the rest of his band. He believed in us when we didn't really believe in ourselves. That was a very cool thing to be a part of. My sympathies to his family and the rest of his friends.

Brian was a sweet and down to earth person. I am thankful for the time we spent together this summer. He met Kristine for the 1st time and unfortunately she learned a new word that she tried out on him, she called him an idiot. The look on his face was priceless. He and Samantha bonded instantly, they were just 2 kids horsing around, she wouldn't leave his side. Brian you are forever in our hearts and we love you. You will be greatly missed.

Brian was an amazing singer-songwriter. He wrote and sang with passion. His songs were pure & they came from the heart. Although I was able to play a few songs with Brian, I mostly listened to him play around the Boise area. And I loved to hear "BC" play. As a fellow musician, we often talked about music. We had visions of playing some gigs togegter, but that never worked out for one reason or another. I believe we had a mutal respect for each other... I know I had the utmost respect for Brian... Brian had a great heart & soul and I will miss him. My thoughts are with Brian's family during this time of sadness...

Brian was sweet, smart, direct and creative. I can hear his voice in my mind so easily, singing his original songs, saying "right on", offering words of encouragement to our children. I met Brian 28 years ago when I married his brother Scott. I felt lucky to call him my brother-in-law and I miss him already.
