Bruce Barnett Obituary
Born October 1, 1951 in New Philadelphia (Roswell), Ohio, Bruce was the son of the late Delbert E. Barnett and Jeanne F. (Summers) Barnett.
During his military career, Bruce served 6 years with the U.S. Army Postal Service in Japan and Korea; 3 years as a U.S. Army Recruiter in Kansas City, Missouri; 3 years at the Retirement Services Office at Fort Stewart, George; 4 years as the Administrative Supervisor of the U.S. Army Regional Services Center at Camp Zama Japan and 1 year as a Training NCO at Fort Dix, New Jersey.
Bruce is preceded in death by his parents, Delbert E. Barnett and Jeanne F. Barnett of New Philadelphia, sister Debra Walls, of Bradenton, Fla. and his companion Mabel Dolorfo of the Philippines who passed away on December 6, 2014.
Bruce is survived by his three daughters, Candace and Michele Barnett of Japan, and Rochelle Gallardo of Angeles City, Philippines. Also surviving are his sisters, Carla Anderson of New Philadelphia and Margaret Barnett of Cambridge as well as his long time friend Rowena Gallardo of France.
According to his wishes, Bruce is to be cremated and no services will be held at this time.

To Bruce's family: I haven't seen Bruce since High School at Indian Valley North. I had known Bruce since elementary school. He was a great guy, and always a good friend to everyone. Seems like he was always smiling! He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you. God Bless.
