Dear Shirley and Family,
I was deeply saddened by the news of Buno's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I can visualize Bruno and Ed sharing their happiness now together just as they shared the last stretch of their journey so courageously. May they rest in peace. Sincerely, Maria

Dear Sherry and Family,
Please know that I am thinking of all of you in this difficult time. I hadn't seen your dad in many years but it doesn't take much for me to imagine his smiling face. With love, Leah

Please accept our condolences in your loss. We have lost a great athlete and gentleman in his passing. I have only recently met Bruno but he has a great history in weightlifting in Alberta. He was one of the founding members of the Alberta Weightlifting Association and the winner of his weight class in the 1959 provincial championships.
Rest in peace Bruno.

The many great times we shared with Bruno and Shirley, along with the "Gang" are captured in our many photos and in our loving memories. The hearty laugh of Bruno placed a big smile on everyone around him - we shared so many wonderful times together. Bruno will be forever missed - we will be together again, til then, he's one of our angels.
Our love and prayers are with Shirley and the family at this sad, sad time.

My name is Jens Rieckmann. My Father Peter worked for Bruno at Great West Electric and worked with him in the early years as well, I'm talking the 1960's. Bruno and I shared many good times in the 1980's, but lost track over the years. I am so sorry that I missed his funeral, but I just got the news and would like to pass on my condolances to the family for myself and my Mother Ingrid who also new Bruno. It was his smile I remember most.

We have been so fortunate to be your neighbours. We will miss your smile and wave as we come home each day. Your kind words of wisdom during our many "street" and "yard" chats will be forever cherished. Your smiling face and wise words to Chris have shown him what great nieghbours really are.
We will miss you so much and thank you and Shirley for being part of our live's.

He was a man with a heart of gold and a laugh so distinguished. There are 100 languages in this world, but Bruno's smile spoke them all.
You will be truly missed and never forgotten.

Bruno, Our Dear Friend
We celebrate Bruno's life today and his connections with family and friends and all who loved him - feeling enriched for having known him and so grateful for our time with him. A special life has passed from our sight... but never from our hearts. We'll never forget that wonderful smile and that jovial laugh. We loved Bruno to bits and our wonderful memories of him will be with us forever.
With Deepest Sympathy and with our love to Shirley and the family from part of "the gang",
George & Joanne Brodie xoxo

Bruno was a true gentleman and mentor, a man of integrity and vision.
His smile and positive attitude never failed to brighten the day.
I simply can not say enough good things about him and I am proud to have been able to be associated with him.
My sincerest condolences to his Shirley and kids and grandkids.
Bruno will be missed by all.

I only had the pleasure of meeting Bruno on a couple of occasions. I found him to be very warm and engaging man.
I do however know Steve very well and he is one of those people whose integrity and honour is a cut above the rest, this is surely a reflection of the stable and guiding force that Bruno and Shirley instilled.
My deepest sympathies to the entire Dobler family in this time of sorrow.

May you rest in piece Bruno,
though I doubt you will as I am sure you will find more mountains.
Now there is a guardian to watch over you all.
