Bryan Roberts Obituary
He was the son of Wanda (Dervis) Chiles of Waterbury, Connecticut who he called just to talk almost every day. He also leaves to cherish his memory his son, Jet, his Aunt Janice Dervis and Uncle Rodney Dervis, both of Naugatuck, CT, E. Chris Rhodes of Oceanside, CA, his close friend, Rob King of Waxahachie, Texas, and many other friends and extended relatives.
Bryan was born in Waterbury and attended Waterbury schools. He was a very talented self-taught guitarist, singer and music composer. He set off in his twenties for Los Angeles to pursue his dream of becoming a rockstar. Although he and his band achieved a modicum of success in such a competitive environment, the day came when he "cut his hair and got a real job"!
He quickly took the mortgage broker industry by storm and led a very comfortable life, buying his first home in Rancho Santa Margarita, California and his dream Mercedes.
When he met his wife-to-be, he arranged for her to continue accounting and tax preparation school and after marrying they began their very successful business, Exclusive Tax Services, LLC in Laguna Niguel which was still in operation at the time of his death.
His life took on a whole new level of joy when his son, Jet, was born. They were the best of buddies especially as Jet got older. While most 14 year old kids prefer to be with their peers, Jet wanted to spend all his time with his Dad! They took walks at various beaches every day, went to a cutting-edge car shows with brands like Tesla, Maserati, and Mercedes-Benz every Saturday with their coffees in hand amongst many other of Jet's favorite things to do.
They both volunteered almost daily at Mercy Warehouse in Laguna Niguel. Bryan felt it was important to teach Jet to give back to others who are not as fortunate as they were and Jet grew to love going there.
A Christian Mass and celebration of Bryan's life will be held at a later date in Connecticut.

I was Jet´s Kindergarten teacher and that´s where I first met Bryan. We also live in the same neighborhood. Bryan would stop by while driving by with Jet to chat if we were outside. He was such a friendly man with a great sense of humor. We are so sad to hear of his passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with the whole family!

Bryan was our friend and roommate in Huntington Beach In the late 80's and early 90's. We are both so saddened by this as we were just talking about the fun times we all used to have at the Rock n Roll Huntington House. Bryan was a good friend. We are sorry for your loss and will fondly remember the times we shared with Bryan.
