Carl Austin Obituary
Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Condee Austin and Adelaide Irving Austin, his brother Randall (Judy) Austin, and his sisters, Ruth (the late Harald) Bowman, Pam (the late Paul) Strode, and Joyce Bowman.
Carl and Kathryn Austin moved to Nashville after purchasing the Leonard Welch Insurance Agency, now the Austin Insurance Agency. Carl was an active volunteer with the Lions Club, the Brown County Chamber of Commerce, the Brown County Convention and Visitors Bureau, and the Brown County Mental Health Board.
A Memorial Service is planned for 2:00pm, Sunday, August 10, at the Brown County Inn, 51 State Road 46E, Nashville, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to one of the following organizations:
