Carlos Ruiz Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Nov. 29, 2018.
Carlos Reyes Ruiz, a retired typesetter in the printing industry passed away November 29, 2018 the age of 85. He was born December 27, 1932 to Carlos Reyes and Rufina Ruiz in Puerto Rico and he had been a resident of Nevada since 1988. Every Sunday religiously, he would receive a call from his son, Carlos to discuss the football games and give their opinion like newscaster of who would win the games. In addition to watching sports, he loved to play golf with his son-in-law, Edwin and his grandson, Eddie Boy, after he had taught them the game. His other love were his cars.

He had a sense of humor with his favorite sayings, "If it's free, it's for me", " Si como no", and the most recent, "Mr. Funds- So-Low", which brought a smile to everyone's face. Not to mention, his smile that always lit a room every time he entered. Carlos's laughter and his big heart will be missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carlos and Rufina, his 2 brothers, Pachin and Begino; 4 sisters, Fido, Ramona, Luisa, and Maria.

My sweet grandfather. My numero uno. I'll never forget the times before u went to bed u would do ur hair like u had a date. I would always ask "why?" Everytime (only because I knew u liked to make me laugh). And ur answer would always be the same "just in case I see the woman of my dreams." Lol anytime I would see a baseball field or golf course I always tend to think of u and ur love for each and see ur smile. I am so thankful that u got to meet my husband and my oldest son when he was a few months old. Jayden may not remember but that's a memory I will keep with me forever. Please watch over my three babies and give them ur sense of humor. I love you, always have and always will.

Love ur Granddaughter Christina and
Great grandchildren Jayden, Jaylene and Jacob
