Carmen Ortiz, age 85, passed away at her daughter's home in Arizona, on Wednesday, September 7, 2011. She was a homemaker. Carmen is preceded in death by her husband Jose.

Carmen is survived by her children Elsie Rubalcava of Arizona, Josie Ortiz and Valentin Ortiz both of Fresno, Ana Ortiz of Arizona, Yolanda Carrillo, Arturo Ortiz, Concepcion Salinas and Iris Munoz all of Fresno; 32 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, eight great-great grandchldren and several great-great-great grandchildren.

She was a loving wife, mother, and to all of her grandchildren who will always miss her, their "nana".

Arrangements under the direction of Tinkler Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Fresno, CA.
