Miss Grimes introduced us to Madeleine L'Engle's 'A Wrinkle in Time'; she read it aloud to the class and it was the favorite part of my day. Her lessons on studying different countries and cultures were wonderful. I still recall doing a report on Burma with my friend Debbie, and how a classmate's mom came in and dressed one of the girls in all the layers of a kimono for the report on Japan. Carol Grimes was a truly superb & kind teacher. She made school something to look forward to each day. Her life will have a ripple effect throughout the world.

The best teacher ever. Both my husband and I had her ( one year apart) and agree she was our favorite.

Miss Grimes was my teacher in 6th grade. She really made learning fun. She inspired me to become a sociologist. I was in awe of her and made a huge positive difference in my life.

Mrs Grimes was my favorite teacher ever. I was the kind of child who needed to be handled with understanding and a firm temperment. She was the perfect person for me. I had her in 6th grade at Lincroft Elementary School. She made learning fun and made me feel worthy of her praise. I'm so glad that I came back to thank her for her leadership and effort when I graduated college. I love you Mrs. Grimes.
