Family-Placed Death Notice
HUBER, Carol Carol Huber, 70, of Alpharetta, GA, died August 15, 2012. Mrs. Huber, a homemaker, was a member of Parkway Baptist Church and a member of the Atlanta Athletic Club. Preceded in death by her husband, Jim Huber, Mrs. Huber is survived her son and daughter-in-law, Matthew C. & Julie Huber of Woodstock, GA; two sisters, Kathryn Sligh Beckham of Hartsville, SC and Beverly Kemp and her husband, Harris, of Greenwood, SC; two grandkids, Kevin and Amy. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to: The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, P.O. Box 4072, Pittsfield, MA 01202, (888) 557-7177. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 17th, at Parkway Baptist Church with Dr. James King officiating. Online condolences may be expressed at www.crowellbrothers.com. Oh Matt...I'm afraid I just learned the news today of Carol's passing. I'm just so sorry. I lost 2 sisters to cancer, just 59 days apart, and it turned our world upside down. I hope you get a small amount of comfort knowing your wonderful parents are together and are free of pain. Please know I care and am keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. Carol along with Jim, were the best neighbors and friends anyone could ask for. They were neighbors in Marietta. My best to Matt and family. She is with Jim now watching over their family.
