Carol Lynn Rodgers Pritchard, of Little Rock, formerly of Hot Springs, passed away November 15, 2016 just two days after celebrating her 76th birthday. Carol was born in Little Rock to the late Maxwell and Faye Stein.
After graduating from Central High School, Carol began a career as a Fashion Coordinator for Blass Department Stores (now known as Dillards). Later, she went on to become a purchasing manager for Essick Air Products and Uniforce Electronics.
Carol’s innate sense of style fueled a love of decorating, antiques, and shopping. She appreciated all things beautiful, including an amazing flower garden she tended to herself. However, most would agree Carol was more beautiful than any of the things she surrounded herself with. A former model, her graciousness and deep love for her family made her shine.
Carol’s memory will be cherished by her husband, David Pritchard; her children Buddy Rodgers and Pamela Lynn Schultz; and also the Pritchard children Tim (Marlene) Pritchard, Jody Kennedy, and Kristin (Barry) Ward; her siblings Conrad Stein and Pamela (Lindell) Trimble; and a special niece, Paula Rainey.
She will be missed by many people who only knew her as “Granna,” especially her grandchildren Ryan Schultz, Ethan Schultz, Zach Schultz, Rachel Rodgers and Jonathan (Kristy) Rodgers, all of whom she adored. And by Evan Schultz, her great grandson, who answers the question, “Whose boy are you?” with a sweet small voice, “Granna’s Boy.” He will not forget.
