Carolyn Walton

A seed was planted and watered on July 28, 1963. Carolyn Walton became one of six to grow and be planted to the late Birdie Lee (Leroy) Custcard, and Johnny Clyde Meeks Family Generational Tree. Carolyn was born July 28, 1963 in Greenwood, Mississippi. A new life was brought forward and a special bond forever tied. A new life. A new leaf for the family tree.

Carolyn's parents always kept her watered and nourished with God's word. Carolyn accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She was reminded of God's word and his works. Carolyn became a member of Eternal Word Worship Center January 1,2004 she was a loyal member. Carolyn shared the word of God with her family and friends. The words of the bible structured Carolyn to be the woman many knew and loved. A word is given. A word is kept.

Carolyn graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1981. Carol would later plant her own seeds to keep the generational family tree roots stronger. Carolyn brought forth two sons Andre D. Snelling and Adrain D. Shivers. Family was important to Carolyn. She kept this love of family to her very last day on this earth. This love of family would later bring forth many more branches and stronger roots to the Custard- Walton, with six grandchildren Sun'Sirai, Lov'Andria,Kim'Mayia,Zay'Moni,Doesaih,and Malakhi . Carolyn was a loving mother and grandmother. A new love. A new life.

Carolyn loved all that entered her life more than she loved herself. Carolyn exchanged her time on this earth for eternal life in heaven on April 17, 2024. A love given. A love lost.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents Birdie Lee (Roy) Custcard, and Johnnie Clyde Meeks, grandmother Mary Ellen Holmes, grandfather Isiah Walton aunts, Nora Lee Williams, Irene Johnson, Mae Francis Johnson, Erma Lee Williams, Rosie Lee Harris, nephews Darrell Eller and Victor Lee. A resting love. A love always kept.

Carolyn leaves to keep her legacy foregoing her two sons Andre D.Snelling and Adrain D. Shivers, all of Gary, five sisters, Samantha Walton, Tenita Johnson, Lawanda Johnson-Abbott, all of Gary, In,Adrienne Meeks of Atlanta,Ga and Johnnie Hill of Wichita,Kansas, two brothers, Gail Walton and Darrell Walton both of Gary,and three bonus brother's Edwin, Gregory, and Demetrius. Three special friends Charles Shelby, Benjamin Graves, and John Snelling. Special niece Shanita Berry, and a host of nieces, nephews and many special friends. A lost life for earth.
