Catherine Dwyer Rogers

Catherine Dwyer Rogers, 31, of Terre Haute, died Monday evening, Dec. 7, 2009, in Union Hospital. She was a homemaker. She was born May 4, 1978, in Terre Haute, to Jack Dwyer and Laura Snider Dwyer. Survivors include her husband, Thomas S. Rogers Jr.; four daughters, Diana Dwyer of Terre Haute, Kelsey Rogers of Florida, Cassandra Rogers of Florida and Lindsay Rogers and her husband Brian, of Korea; her mother, Laura Dwyer of Terre Haute; her sister, Kristine Dwyer and her companion Dirk Joy of Terre Haute; her mother-in-law, Vicki Nesbit and her husband Bill; her father-in-law, Tom Rogers Sr. and his wife Sandy; and her grandfather, John H. Dwyer and his wife Dorothy. Also surviving are several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law including, Vicki Blair; aunts and uncles, Barbara and George McNeill, David Snider, Jane Dwyer and Marilyn Shilkett; several nieces and nephews including, Jack Joy; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Dwyer. Cathy was a graduate of Terre Haute North Vigo High School and was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009, in Callahan and Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Father Joel Burget officiating. Visitation is scheduled prior to services on Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. The family kindly requests that memorial contributions may be made to Ryves Hall Youth Center, 1356 Locust Street, Terre Haute, IN 47807.
