I knew Cecile at Litchfield (NH) Elementery School where we were in the same class (of 1967, though ee moved away after sixth grade, but kept in touch with some classmates). Cecile was bright, funny, sociable, and the nicest gitl you'd ever want to know. She was a good friend, although we lost touch after sixth grade, I did go to that (my) class's 1967 LES graduation in Talent Hall in Litchfield. Cecile was very friendly to me that night and I'll never forget that. I am so sorry to learn if her passing in 2024 at such a young age. My deep condolences to all her family and friends, and my heartfelt prayers and sympathies go out to you all, and to everyone who ever knew her. Rest in peace, Cecile! Dave Pancoast-(formerly of the) LES Class of 1967

The description of Cecile describes her perfectly. As a sweet and kind friend during our high school years, she was darn close to perfect. She had a soft voice for all, but a little feisty when it was needed. Being around her, Susie Benson (Aucoin), Carrie Rose Colby, Frannie Shunaman and Mark Maryanski as classmates gave me great joy. My mother loved them all as well, because they loved me. I know Cecile is dancing now with Carrie Rose, Mark and my Mum Ruth (Carty) Hatfield. She was a treasure. I only wish my life serving in the US Air Force had not taken me away from these amazing friends. I cherish the memories.
