I have such good memories of Chet and his family from the early 70s. He was an artist at my father's advertising agency (Bud Hebert and Associates) and would draw things for us. I heard a story on the radio this morning that reminded me of the family and decided to Google his name. I'm saddened that he has died but glad he lived a long, full life.

I am so thankful for the last few years that I got to know Chet and Juanita better. I will never forget how much fun we had in ancestor hunting in Baton Rouge a few years ago. We had great conversation and created wonderful memories. May God bless you, Juanita, during this time of grief. You and family, will certainly be in my prayers. I will miss Chet immensely!

So thankful I got to know my older cousin better in the last few years. Will never forget the time we met in Baton Rouge and went ancestor hunting with my brother and Juanita. Such great fun and lots of memories and conversation that I will never forget. I love Chet and will certainly miss you!

I pray for the peace of God to be with you and comfort you. From a small boy I always looked up to Chet and he was always kind and had time to talk and care for his younger cousins. He never changed and even when we were apart for decades, he still took the time to come to Meriam’s funeral and spend the day with us. Thank God for Chet’s life and may God have mercy on us all.

I worked with Chet at Woman's. He was always such a nice person.
I'm sorry for your loss.
