Charles Crocker Jr.

CROCKER - Captain Charles F., Jr., 83, of West Barnstable, MA, formerly of Duxbury, MA, passed away on June 26, 2006, after a long illness. He graduated from Tabor Academy and Massachusetts Maritime Academy and went into the Merchant Marines, after which he embarked on a Boston Harbor Pilot career. He was a lifelong Mason and a member of the Pilgrim Church in Duxbury. His interests included hunting, fishing and vegetable gardening. Survived by his beloved wife of thirty years, Catherine C. Crocker. Loving father of Priscilla C. Dreier of Barnstable, MA, Tamsin C. Peckham of Medfield, MA, David W. Crocker of Brewster, MA, Kimberly C. Roy of Barnstable, MA, Jane E. Sweeney of West Barnstable, MA, Dirk Coffman of West Barnstable, MA. Loving brother to Marjorie L. Handy of West Barnstable; also survived by thirteen grandchildren; one great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral at the Doane, Beal & Ames Funeral Home at 160 West Main Street, Hyannis, MA on Friday, July 7, 2006, at 11:00 AM.
