Charles Harrison Davis

Charles Harrison Davis, aged 89, died on September 11, 2024, in Lancaster, PA. Formerly of Philadelphia, he is survived by his wife of 58 years, Suzanne (Mitchell), and children, Alix Davis Cummin, and Charles (Shannon), and grandchildren Hunter and Nate Cummin and Caroline and Sara Davis. A graduate of The Haverford School '52 and the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, '56, and MBA '62, he owned Davis Elliott International, an export management company, and worked before that for the Catholic Relief Services Food for Peace Program and The International Development Foundation in Latin America. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Old St. Mary's Church, 4th and Locust Streets, Philadelphia, on Friday, September 20, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. with a reception to follow at The Philadelphia Club, 13 th and Walnut, Philadelphia. Memorial gifts may be made to The Haverford School or the Boyer Scholarship of the First Troop Philadelphia City Cavalry.
